Giovanna was a very shortlived but aggressive competitive submission wrestler and boxer for Festelle. Appearing in a UK tournament in 1989, Giovanna boxed one of Festelle’s toughest, Sandra, and wrestled top ranked Festelle wrestler Sherry on the same day. With little experience, Giovanna made a good showing in both, going the distance against Sandra only to lose in a decision and wrestling Sherry to a draw. Giovanna had good fight instincts and a high pain threshold. Short of stature, Gionvanna was compact, voluptuous, and powerful, capable of suffocating opponents as well as going toe-to-toe in stand up fighting.
